The Brief

Create a visually engaging recipe tutorial that guides viewers through the cooking process step-by-step.

Brainstorm

This brainstorm shows my process of working through the ingredients and actions that I would need to illustrate as well as how I would lay them out. I wanted to ensure that the recipe steps would be as clear as possible for the viewer.

Illustrations

These hand-drawn vector illustrations were crafted in Adobe Illustrator with a focus on clean lines and organic shapes.

Colours & Textures

Inspired by the organic ingredients, I’ve crafted a vibrant color palette featuring shades of green, brown, and tomato red. To add a modern touch, I’ve intentionally saturated the hues, creating a visually striking and contemporary aesthetic.

Final Layout

The final layout is clear and concise for the viewer. The colours and textures as well as the photography all work to bring focus to the rustic nature of the dish and the beauty of these simple ingredients.
